Who is Dr Stewart W Turner?
Dr. Stewart W. Turner, who teaches Creation, is a rarity in today’s world; he is a graduate of three U.S. Universities and holds a PhD in Engineering, yet he is a Bible believing Christian who teaches a literal, six day Creation. With a diverse background, he was raised on a small ‘truck farm’ in NJ where he made enough money in High School to pay for five years of college by growing tomatoes and okra. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel Univ in Philadelphia, an MS and a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Univ of AZ in Tucson, and a BS in Military Science from Air University.
Dr. Turner has worked more than 40 years in the Aerospace Industry of which 31 years were with the US Air Force as a Civilian Scientist. He has specialized in Turbojet Engines, Rockets, Missiles, and Smart Bombs. He was one of the original AF Rocket Scientists at the AF Rocket Propulsion Lab and spent 11 years developing Segmented Rockets and Moveable Nozzles for Air Force and NASA systems. The next 20 years were at the AF Armament Lab at Eglin AFB, FL, where he became the Director of Engineering Analysis and was responsible for analyzing most of the weapons in the AF inventory today, including the more well-known JDAM (Joint Direct Attack Weapon) and AMRAAM (Advanced Med Range Air-Air Missile).
During his career, Dr. Turner founded two small corporations; MTS Inc, to develop software and SWT Inc, a Defense Systems Consulting firm. His outside activities have included; Scout Master of a Boy Scout Troop, Church Building Committee Chairman for three churches, active Deacon or Elder for 30 years, Sunday School Teacher, Semi-Pro Photographer, and extensive travels to 23 countries and all 50 states with more than 45 trips to Europe. He also speaks fluent German.
He has studied Creation Science for 40 years and has been involved with the Institute for Creation Research, the Creation Research Society and Answers in Genesis (AIG) for many years. In 2004, he completed refresher courses in Creation Studies at the AIG Creation College. Dr. Turner has read most of the literature on Creation Science and has heard all of the arguments against Creation. He lectures frequently on Creation Science and can share much of the latest Scientific Evidence for Creation with you during his series of lectures with colorful PowerPoint slides which include many of his own photographs of God’s Handiwork on our created Earth.
